Week 1 – Goal 1 – Day 3
Just came back from my 30 min walk…and today was nice because my 15 minutes in was rewarded by a nice ocean view filled with Whales and Dolphins… it was soooo nice and refreshing….
Step 4 – Inspiration
As stated in the post earlier it is important with TLC that you get Inspiration that will get you back on the road to getting in shape. I love fashion and must admit that I get really motivated when I see stylish clothes. See it is part of my goal to be able to fit into these outfits and look great in them. So I was browsing today on the net and got some really Inspirational clothes.

Week 1 – Day 2 Goal Part 1
Okay, finished 15 min on the Health Walker. So that is Day 2 of my 3 Days. 2/3
Week 1 – Day 1 Goals Part 2
Ok just finished the 2nd part of my physical activity… 15 min on the Health Walker… yipeeeeeeee!!!!!… so now todays Goal is achieved…. 30 min of Physical Activity… 1/3…
Week 1 – Day 1
GOAL FOR TODAY: 30 minutes of Physical Activity 1/3
Ok just done 15 min on the Health Walker at a fast walking speed. Now I will do the next 15 min tonight… 1/2 a goal reached for today..
Step 7 – Rewards
Now here we get to another fun part… REWARDS!!!… Yes that is right, I have to reward myself on this program with every week that passes and I complete my mission and reach my STG. So this will mean I will have to plan my rewards every month. It can be anything… that nice pair of Platinum Hoops… or even just something as simple as a massage or a nice new nail colour…This will have to be revised every month… I can’t just go crazy and buy on impulse… although we know that is always fun… but I want to buy things I like and need. Things I will use for a long time… So let me think about this and get back to you…
Week 1 – Physical Activities
My aim for this Week is to add 30 minutes of walking. I want to start of by doing this for 3 days this week. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Step 6 – Short Term Goals
In Step 6 I will have to breakdown Step 5‘s MTG’s into smaller goals. Allowing me to fit one in for each week. This I will have to review and revise every week, as well as setting some new ones for the next month… But for now let me focus on how I am going to take on the ones I have…
See the whole plan is to condition myself to accept the new, good habits in place of the old ones… So you see I am not denying my mind anything…just replacing somethings… for the better…
So what are my Short Term Goals? If I look at my MTG’s, this what I will have to break them into:
- Week 1 will be me looking at adding Physical Activity to my week. That means that I will add 30 minutes of physical activity for 3 days in Week 1.
- Week 2 will see me learning the HAND GUIDE. This is a way to use my hands to determine my portion size per meal.
- Week 3 I will replace fatty foods with Fat-free Foods.
- Week 4 will see me replacing processed refined carbs with Whole-Wheat Food.
Must say I am actually getting exited about this new Life I am heading into. Well we are getting near the end of the 7 Steps… Next I will add the last step… Step 7…
Step 5 – Mid Term Goal
So now I have my inspiration I need to go on to my next step. This would be to decide and plan my Mid Term Goal. I already know my Long Term Goals. Now I would like to break it down into more managable steps.
- To reach my goal of 63 kg by June 2010 I will have to lose 4 kg per month.
- I will have to change 1 bad habit per week…
- REWARD MYSELF…(very important)… What will I reward myself with…mmmmmm….
I understand now that in order to reach my goal I will have to break-down my Main Goal into more manageable goals… This being Mid Term and Short Term Goals…Now I have the Mid Term Goals… Let’s move on the to the Short Term Goals…
Step 6 to follow….
Step 4 – What is My Inspiration?
The next step is to find what inspires me to want to reach my goal… What makes me want to jump-up and get going… Let me see if I can get 3 good inspirations…
- Paging through a magazine & seeing those amazing outfits… My special movie of outfits Devil Wears Prada!!!
- When I go to the beach and realise that I don’t feel comfortable, listening to certain songs that make me imagine being on the beach… Songs like…. Wish You Where Here – Incubus…
- And then last but not least that amazing Italian Stallion, the man in my life… when I see him… even when it is just our photo on my desktop… he is just sooo amazing and caring…and not to mention sexy… I want to be my best for him…
So what does this mean… Well now I will have to create a Dream Board for myself and place it somewhere I can see it everyday… I need to make this a daily part of my mind in order to get where I am aiming to go…
